Moed ("we," "us") provides community software for churches. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you and your church have. By using Moed you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
- Account information — your name, email address, and the church you belong to, along with your role (member, organizer, or admin).
- Church content — events, categories, announcements, RSVPs, and invitations created within your community.
- Billing data — subscription status and payment records, handled by our payment processor (we never store full card numbers).
- Usage data — basic technical logs needed to operate and secure the service.
How we use your information
We use your information solely to operate Moed: to run your church's community, send event and account notifications, process subscription billing, provide support, and keep the service secure. We do not sell your data, and we do not show advertising.
Member data and church control
Your church controls its own community. Organizers and admins decide who is approved as a member and who may see attendee information. Member content is private to the approved members of that church — there are no public profiles.
Service providers
We rely on a small set of trusted processors to deliver Moed: Supabase (authentication and database hosting), Stripe (payment processing), and Resend (transactional email). These providers process data only on our behalf and under their own security commitments.
Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your church maintains an active account. When a church is deleted, its associated community data is removed. We may retain limited records where required for legal, accounting, or security purposes.
Your choices
You may update your profile information at any time from your account settings, and you can request deletion of your data by contacting us. Church admins can delete the entire community from the settings page.
