No — never. Members join and use Moed completely free. Your church pays the monthly subscription as a ministry expense. We designed it this way deliberately, because the #1 complaint about existing platforms is that they charge individuals just to see announcements or RSVP to events. That's not how a church community should work.

Once you reach your plan's member limit, new members can't join until you upgrade or free up space — but we never remove or lock out anyone who's already in. Your admin dashboard shows a clear prompt so you know it's time to upgrade. Growing out of Seed into Growth is a good problem to have.

Yes. Every new church starts with a 14-day free trial of all features — no credit card required. When the trial ends you continue on the Seed plan, or upgrade to keep the premium features (email notifications, email invites, custom categories, and engagement stats).

Yes. The Parish plan is built for large churches and networks, and we offer denomination-level deals for organisations that want to roll out Moed across 5 or more member churches. Email us at hello@moed.church and we'll work out the right arrangement.

Yes. You can cancel any time from your settings — your community stays active until the end of the billing period. We don't believe in trapping customers.
